HOW TO MOD YOUR OWN THEMES ON S40(JAVA) PHONES.

Step 1<br /> create a new folder. Copy a theme already<br /> on ur fone u want 2 edit. And also copy the<br /> pics u want 2 use.<br /> Step 2<br /> Open ur file explorer, Blue FTP, UC Web or any renaming application. Locate the folder and rename the copied theme in that folder<br /> to .zip e.g (MAN U.nth to MAN U.zip) i.e<br /> rename the theme 4rm .nth to .zip<br /> Step 3<br /> now open ur JZIPMAN or BLUE FTP locate the theme u<br /> rename to (.zip) click on it, it will show some<br /> list of file, select option n click on SELECT ALL,<br /> after that select option again and click on EXTRACT. It will take sometime just be<br /> selecting YES until its stop.<br /> Step 4<br /> Now u can replace them with ur pics. Go<br /> back to ur FILE EXPLORER<br /> HINTS: U should take note of names in the<br /> theme. U can replace it following my step.<br /> You can see a file name CONTACT_GRID.PNG delete the file and rename ur own pics with the same name i.e CONTACT_GRID.PNG or if you see a file name 'wallpaper.jpg' delete it first,<br /> then rename your pics to that same name<br /> 'wallpaper.jpg'.<br /> The name in the theme should remain as it was before, its very<br /> important.<br /> If its a theme with ringtone e.g nokia.mp3<br /> Rename ur desire music 2 nokia.mp3 but note that the higher ur tone size, the bigger the size of ur theme.<br /> After you have finish everything close the file<br /> explorer. In case your pics still remain in that<br /> folder delete them just not 2 cause confusion.<br /> STEP 5.<br /> Open ur JZIPMAN or BLUE FTP. Go 2 that folder SELECT<br /> "every file" in that folder by pressing SELECT<br /> BUTTON from your option key. Note that there will be<br /> no changes when you are selecting them. After<br /> that, press OPTION button and select LIST you will<br /> see the list of every file you have selected. Now press OPTION BUTTON and select Copy to Zip or PACK BUTTON.<br /> Then it will show a path of saving files change the (zip) to nth and unchange other<br /> name again don't change other name except<br /> zip to nth. Select ok button and continue to<br /> press yes until it stop. After it stoped, close the<br /> application and go to that folder you will see a<br /> theme name JZIPMAN.NTH or FILE.NTH, if u use Blue FTP, is your theme now you<br /> can rename it to your desire name.<br /> Now your theme is ready for use.
